With over 30 years of experience, Sue has worked for some of the top marketers in the world, including: Chicago Tribune, Procter & Gamble, Activision, and many more. She graduated with Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing, before attending Loyola Graduate School of Business. Over the course of her career, she has worked at large agencies and media management firms in Chicago, including SMY Media, Tatham-Laird & Kudner, Marsteller, and Berman Lloyd & Associates. She founded Conroy Media, Ltd. in January of 1990. Sue has a passion for relentlessly pursuing data-driven, consumer-centric marketing solutions for clients.
In 2014, Sue became one of the first graduates of the fully online Medill - Northwestern University Integrated Marketing Communications Masters program. Since graduation, she continues her involvement with Medill as a Teaching Assistant for the online IMC program, assisting with Marketing Management and Consumer Insights courses.
Some of her favorite activities are skiing, traveling and spending time with her family.
Ross Currie - VP Client Services
Ross attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, before going on to work for SMY Media, Ogilvy and Mather, True North Media, and MediaMixNet. Over his 34-year career, he has worked on many accounts, including: American Airlines, Sears, Coors, and SC Johnson.
His hobbies range from traveling to cooking, and he was a Scottish Highland dancer for 12 years. One of his many accomplishments is having served for 10 years on the Chicago Broadcast Advertising Club board, before becoming the President of the board for 2001.
Andy Shore - VP Strategic Planning
Andy earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1984. She then went on to work at Tatham-Laird & Kudner, Foote, Cone and Belding, Spark Network Services and MediaMixNet. Over her 27-year career in the field, she has worked with many clients, including: SC Johnson, Procter & Gamble, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
She loves taking road trips off the beaten path, dining outside, making jewelry, and scuba diving (though once while diving, she came face-to-face with a barracuda).
Melissa Brummerstedt - Account Director
Melissa handles programmatic, paid search and social media advertising for Conroy Media. She's Google Analytics and Google AdWords certified. Prior to joining Conroy Media, Melissa was the Digital Marketing Manager for a heating manufacturer and oversaw the company’s SEO, SEM and social media activities.
She also has background in the agency setting developing digital marketing campaigns for several large clients including Miracle Ear, Dartmouth University and HealthSource. Melissa also has a decade of experience with marketing in higher education at Robert Morris University. Other business categories that she has worked in include HVAC, homeinspections, high end retail, real estate, weight loss and business coaching.
Melissa holds her BA degree in Computer Science from Trinity Christian College as well as her MS in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
Melissa has an adventurous spirit and loves to travel all over the world. Her favorite places include Sweden and Thailand. She also has a strong creative side which manifests itself in drawing, painting and glass work. In her downtime, you can find her snuggling either one of her dogs, named Biscuits and Gravy.
Vivian Busch - Digital Account Director
Vivian handles digital strategy and paid search for Conroy Media. She's Google AdWords certified and oversees all SEM activities. Prior to joining Conroy Media, Vivian was Partner/VP of Media Innovation for Central Coast Agency, where she led cross-functional teams accountable for national and global media strategies and media planning/buying programs that supported clients' business conversion goals.
She also has served in senior media management positions at Kelly, Scott & Madison, Rhea & Kaiser Communications, and J. Walter Thompson USA. She's worked within many business categories, including technology, retail, automotive, healthcare, QSR, consumer packaged goods and entertainment. Over her extensive career, she's worked on American Red Cross, Shoe Carnival, Robert Morris College, Long John Silver's, NBC Universal, Ford, and Burger King, to name a few.
Vivian holds a BA degree in Communications from Loyola University Chicago.
In her free time, Vivian likes to ski and to take long walks with her dog. She also characterizes herself as a "closet painter," preferring to create abstract designs with oils and to experiment with color.
Betsy Thompson - Account Director
Betsy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College Chicago before going on to work at RPM Advertising, LCI/McCann Erickson, Bates USA, and Quantum Media. Her past account experiences ranges from General Motors and Subaru to Nestle and CVS Pharmacy.
She spends most of her time outside of work enjoying activities with her kids. She’s also an avid runner.
Georgia Christakes - Accounting Manager
Georgia oversees the accounting management and bookkeeping functions. Prior to joining Conroy Media, Georgia ran the office at Chipain's Finer Foods and Shop-N-Save Holding Company. Very familiar with systems and processes, Georgia is an expert with Quickbooks and payroll software systems.
Georgia attended DePaul University, majoring in accounting. When not at work, she enjoys watching Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs games. She's also the "fun" aunt, taking her nieces and nephews to sporting events or on city adventures. Georgia also crochets blankets for Project Linus, a charity that distributes the blankets to area children's hospitals.
Debbie Lunn - Office Manager
Debbie is responsible for keeping the office operations on track. She has over 36 years of office management experience; her past employers include HRP Television, MMT Sales, United Television Sales, True North Media, and IPG. Her favorite activities include reading, shopping, and going to estate sales.
