Marcus Murphree - Digital Account Director
In charge of display and programmatic planning and buying, Marcus brings the unique blend of analytical expertise and journalistic background to the Conroy Media digital team. He's worked as a digital consultant, digital and web strategist, and digital editor and producer prior to joining Conroy Media. In working with CRM and content management systems, Marcus has a holistic view on the importance of integrating marketing with content. He's been extensively involved with Google Analytics management and search engine optimization projects. In his position with the Dallas Morning News, he managed, produced and analyzed the digital sports desk, covering more than 200 Dallas-area high schools while integrating real-time digital analytics and metrics programs.
A graduate of Texas Christian University, home of the Horned Frogs, Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, playing outside, and trying to determine which Italian beef place really is the best in Chicago. Additionally, you can find him in the bleachers at either one of Chicago's ballparks during the summer months.
